Painting with Lettering—A Diverse Creative Workshop on Juist

Text can become an image: using comic elements and graffiti-style lettering, or even combining text with symbols.

We’ll transform lettering into a statement, practice simple comic and decorative lettering styles, and play with symbols in our lettering. No prior drawing or sketchnoting experience is necessary—just a love of creating; everything else can be learned.

“I can’t do that” doesn’t exist. Just join in!

I’m familiar with the workflows and processes in large corporations as well as the corporate culture in family-run small and medium-sized businesses, and I have experience with marketing, internal corporate communications, and sales in both environments.I’ve always used mind maps to organize my thoughts and ideas; when I was forced to work from home during the pandemic, I sought out creative, engaging ways to present information using online tools—and that’s how I discovered my passion for sketchnotes and explanatory illustrations. Now I’d like to share my enthusiasm and guide you in using small, effective, minimalist icons(=symbols) to visually represent and capture your own professional content, letting these relaxed compositions speak for themselves in your own unique style.Another passion of mine is greeting cards—created inexpensively and individually using simple means—which, in today’s digital age, are a wonderful symbol of appreciation for others.
